RIPON, Wis. - Competing against the defending Midwest Conference champion Knox Prairie Fire Saturday afternoon, Ripon played to a 1-1 tie after two overtime periods. The game was tightly contested throughout, with Knox holding a 22-15 shot advantage, including 4-1 in overtime.
After neither team scored in the first half, Knox (5-3-1, 0-0-1 MWC) broke through with a goal by Jenna Li less than two minutes into the second half, her fourth of the season on an assist by Lydia Mitchell. That lead lasted until the 74th minute when
Camrie Schmitz tied things up for the Red Hawks (2-6-1, 0-0-1 MWC) with her team-leading eighth goal of the season.

Stefani Zeiger played all 110 minutes in goal, making 13 saves on the day. Her counterpart, Knox's Katy Coseglia also played the entire game, saving six shots.
