RIPON, Wis. - Playing in front of their home fans for the first time this season, the Ripon College women's soccer team lost 3-0 to Saint Mary's (Minn.). Ripon was also out-shot 14-7.

The Cardinals (3-0-0) broke a scoreless tie just 11 and a half minutes into the game on a goal by Mary Loy, who put a header into the back of the net on an assist from Genesis Capacio.

SMU didn't score again until the second half when Jordyn Matthews found the net from about 25 yards out. Matthews scored her second goal of the game just seven minutes later on a Free Kick.

Stefani Zeiger played all 90 minutes in goal for the Red Hawks (0-3-0), making seven saves, while Gabriella Pederson also played the entire game between the pipes for SMU, saving two shots.

Ripon will be in action again on Tuesday when they'll travel to Marian. That game will begin at 7 p.m. in Fond du Lac, Wis., and can be seen live at https://portal.stretchinternet.com/marianwi/.
