APPLETON, Wis. - Ripon's women's soccer team battled through 90 minutes of action Tuesday evening against Lawrence University, but the Vikings' one goal was enough to secure the victory, as they defeated Ripon 1-0. Lawrence also out-shot the Red Hawks by a 30-1 margin.
The game's only goal came in the 22nd minute off the foot of Natalie Linebarger, her third of the season for the Vikings (8-5-1, 2-2-0 MWC), with no assist.

Andreanna Wilke made 17 saves while playing all 90 minutes between the pipes.
The Red Hawks (0-12-1, 0-5-0) will try to get on track Saturday when they'll travel to Knox College. That game will begin at 11 a.m. in Galesburg, Ill., and can be seen live at https://portal.stretchinternet.com/knox/.
