APPLETON, Wis. - Lawrence University used a trio of second half goals to defeat Ripon's men's soccer team 4-0 Wednesday night. The Vikings also out-shot Ripon 27-9, including 13-3 after halftime.
After neither team scored in the first 38 minutes, Lawrence's Konstanti Fardellas notched the game's first goal just before halftime, scoring his 10th of the season on an assist from Ian Salim. The Vikings (7-6-0, 4-0-0 MWC) would add goals by Zach Dale, Cooper Kerkhof, and Rodrigo Angulo in the second half to secure the victory.
Kalan Narance played all 90 minutes at Goal Keeper for Ripon 4-10-1, 1-4-0 MWC), making six saves. Lawrence's Hunter Lanton recorded four saves during his 90-minute shutout performance.
