FOND Du LAC, Wis. - Ripon's women's soccer team lost to Marian (Wis.) University Sunday night by a score of 5-0. The Sabres also out-shot the Red Hawks by a 41-2 margin.

Marian got the scoring started in the 10th minute on Ashley Welk's eighth goal of the season. Charity Hertel and Lillian Giron would also add first half goals for the Sabres.

Welk would add to that lead in the second half with her second goal of the game, while Shannon Coughlin capped the scoring with her seventh goal of th season in the 50th minute.

Andrea Wilke saved 14 shots in goal for the Red Hawks, while playing the first 82 minutes.

Ripon will be in action again on Wednesday when they'll host UW-River Falls at 6:30 p.m. That game will be played at Ingalls Field in Ripon, and can be seen live at https://portal.stretchinternet.com/ripon/.
