RIPON, Wis. - Ripon's women's tennis team closed out their 2021 regular season Thursday night with a 6-3 loss to UW-Oshkosh in what was their final tuneup before the Midwest Conference Championships on October 16-17. This marks Ripon's first home loss of the season, as they finish 4-1 on their home turf.

In doubles play, Ripon's number three team of Sarah Weber and Emma Ziebell were victorious 8-7. The Red Hawks' other two team points came in singles play, where Hannah Ryback and Chase Polyak did the honors at the number one and six flights, respectively. Ryback won her match 6-1, 6-2, while Polyak won by a score of 6-3, 6-0.

Ripon will now get ready for the MWC Championships, which will begin on Saturday, October 16 at Nielsen Tennis Center in Madison, Wis.
