RIPON, Wis. - Ripon's women's soccer team trailed by just one goal at halftime during Saturday's game against Monmouth, but the Fighting Scots would score five more goals after intermission to secure the victory. Monmouth also out-shot the Red Hawks 39-3, including 21-1 in the first half.
Monmouth (2-10-0, 0-3-0 MWC) broke a scoreless tie in the 33rd minute when Kim Lopez scored on a pass from Sam Koppers for the only goal of the first half. The Fighting Scots would add to that lead just three minutes into the second half when Elizabeth Schmidt scored off a corner kick. Madison Walker and Kaylee Doebert also got into the scoring action, while Koppers and Kelsey Holtgrave capped the scoring later in the half.

Andreanna Wilke and
Maddy Spranger combined to save 15 shots for at Goal Keeper for the Red Hawks (0-11-1, 0-4-0 MWC).
