Callista DeCramer Earns All-Region Honors In The Javelin

Ripon Senior Callista DeCramer was named to the All-Region Team in the Javelin recently, as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). In order to earn All-Region status, an individual needs to finish in the top five in an event in his or her region. DeCramer is one of just eight female student-athletes from the Midwest Conference to earn All-Region honors this season.

A Physical Education major from Princeton, Wis., DeCramer currently ranks 30th in Division-III in the Javelin with a season-best throw of 128-10 at St. Norbert's Green Knight Invite on May 1. This marks her second career All-Region honor after earning the distinction in the Heptathlon in 2019.

DeCramer will finish her historic Ripon College career this week, as she has qualified for NCAA Division-III Nationals for the fifth time, which is the most individual National appearances in program history. She will be competing in the Heptathlon in this year's championships, hosted by North Carolina A&T University in Greensboro, N.C.
