WAUKESHA, Wis. - Carroll (Wis.) University defeated Ripon's men's soccer team 6-0 Wednesday night, scoring all six goals after halftime. Carroll also out-shot the Red Hawks by a 34-5 margin, including 20-1 in the second half.
After a scoreless first half, Carroll (5-1-0) scored one and a half minutes into the second period on Ethan Pequignot's fourth goal of the season. Four minutes later, Pequignot would add his second goal of the day, before Zane Walters and Ricky Perez each added a goal during the next 11 minutes. Jack Daly and Rory Wood would also get into the scoring action for the Pioneers.
Kenny Smith played the entire game as Goal Keeper for Ripon (1-5-1), making nine saves. His counterpart Tyler Hanson also played the entire game in goal, saving two shots for Carroll.
Ripon will be in action again on Saturday when they'll travel to Maranatha Baptist University.
