RIPON, Wis. - Ripon's women's tennis team continued their strong 2021 season Saturday afternoon with a pair of Midwest Conference victories. The Red Hawks defeated Monmouth (Ill.) 9-0 Saturday morning before downing Illinois College 6-3 that afternoon.

Ripon (5-4, 2-2 MWC) won all three doubles matches by a combined score of 24-5. Their number one team of Hannah Ryback and Tia Endrizzi won 8-2, while Tamera Holland and Chase Polyak teamed up at the second flight to win 8-3. Sarah Weber and Emma Ziebell were also victorious at number three doubles, blanking Monmouth 8-0.

In doubles play, each Ripon player won in two sets. Ryback, Endrizzi, and Weber dominated their matches at the number one, two, and three positions, respectively. Holland, Halle Hadel, and Ziebell added wins at the number four, five, and six flights, respectively.

The Red Hawks will try for their third consecutive conference victory on Sunday when they'll travel to Lake Forest, Ill. to battle Lake Forest College at Noon.
