RIPON, Wis. - Lake Forest's men's soccer team scored four second half goals Wednesday night, en route to a 5-1 win against the Red Hawks. Lake Forest also out-shot Ripon by a 23-4 margin.
Lake Forest (1-9-1, 1-1-0 MWC) scored the only goal of the first half in the 25th minute when Elliot Hull scored on a Penalty Kick. The Foresters added to their lead in the second period on goals from Mikey Sanchez and Hull's second score of the game. Ripon (2-8-1, 0-2-0 MWC) got one of those goals back on
Esteban Borja Pena's first goal of the season, but Sanchez would answer with another goal for the Foresters less than two minutes later. Hull would complete the hat trick in the 80th minute to cap the scoring.
Kalan Narance played all 90 minutes at Goal Keeper for the Red Hawks, making 11 saves. His counterpart, Szymon Mocarski also played the entire game, saving one shot.
Ripon will be in action again on Saturday when they'll host Cornell (Iowa). That game will begin at 1:30 p.m. at Prairie Field in Ripon, and can be seen live at https://portal.stretchinternet.com/ripon/.
