RIPON, Wis. – The Ripon College men's soccer team used three second-half goals to overcome a 2-0 halftime deficit for a 3-2 victory Saturday.
The Red Hawks are now 8-6-3 on the year, including 4-1-2 in league play. The Pioneers fall to 9-5-1 overall and 5-1-1 against conference foes.

Matt Hegge in the 60
th minute to get the home squad on the board.
Jacob Oppeneer helped the home squad knot the score at the 71:32 mark when he found Hegge for a shot that rocketed past the keeper.
Ripon continued putting the pressure on Grinnell and broke through with the team's third score in the 76
th minute of play.
Connor Reiner found Oppeneer, who blasted the attempt past the keeper to the upper left of the frame for what turned out to be the match-winning goal.
With strong play by the defense, the Red Hawks did not allow the visitors to get off another shot the rest of the way.
For the match,
Kalan Narance played all 90 minutes between the pipes and had three saves in the win.
Hegge had two shots in the contest – both of which found the back of the net.
The Red Hawks return to action Saturday, Oct. 29 at Illinois College. The match is slated for 11 a.m.
