AUBURNDALE, Fla. - After winning their first three games of their 2022 Spring Trip, Ripon's baseball team suffered their first loss in Florida Tuesday nigh, falling 4-3 in six innings against Ramapo Uiversity. The Red Hawks led for the entire game until the bottom of the final inning, which saw Ramapo push across a pair of runs.

Nick Terrell crushed his team-leading third home run of the season. Ripon would add another run in the second on an RBI single by
Cam Stampfl, before Ramapo (4-3) tied the game at two with a pair of runs in the third. Ripon grabbed the lead back in the following frame on
Kaleb Burns' first career homer. Ramapo matched that with a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth to tie the game once more, before hittig another solo homer to take the lead in that same inning. The game was called in the seventh due to rain.
With a 1-for-2 performance at the plate, Terrell's season batting average actually dropped, as he is now batting a white-hot .619 through six games this season.
Ripon will be in action again Wednesday when they'll battle Anderson (Ind.) at 10:30 a.m. ET. That game will be played at Lake Myrtle Park Field Six in Auburndale, Fla.
