Ripon College shortstop Nick Terrell has been named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week, after continuing his torrid start to the 2022 baseball season.

Already the winner of the Midwest Conference Performer of the Week twice in the last three weeks, Terrell earned his first career National Team of the Week honor by batting .632 (12-for-19) with seven RBI and five runs scored during Ripon's five games last week. The Peoria, Ill. native recorded at least one hit in each game, with eight of his 12 hits going for extra bases (six doubles and two home runs). Carrying a slugging percentage of 1.263 during the week, Terrell also swiped two bases and drew a pair of walks, while handling 20 chances at shortstop without committing an error.

In addition to his eye-popping batting average, Terrell has also compiled seven doubles this season, to go along with one triple, four home runs, 11 RBI, four stolen bases, and 15 runs scored. He was named All-Region Third Team last year.
