Ripon College sophomore outfielder
Mikaela Lawrence has been named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week after leading the Red Hawks to two wins in their four games last week.
Lawrence extended her current hitting streak to five games, batting .727 (8-for-11) in Ripon's four games, which included two doubles and two triples. She also finished the week with four runs scored and four Runs Batted In, as she raised her season batting average to a team-best .344.
In a doubleheader sweep of Knox, Lawrence went 3-for-3 in both games. The Biology major from Anchorage, Alaska also handled all eight of her chances in the field during the week without committing an error, while recording two outfield assists.
