MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Ripon College women's tennis swept host Alverno College 9-0 Wednesday evening in non-conference action. The Red Hawks improved to 2-3 on the season while the Inferno fell to 0-4 on the campaign.

The Red Hawks dominated doubles action by sweeping all three matches. Sophomore Chase Polyak and Sophomore Emma Ziebell got things rolling when they picked up an 8-1 win at third doubles. Sophomore Andreanna Wilke and senior Tamera Holland put Ripon up 2-0 with an 8-0 win at second doubles. Freshmen Allison Larsen and Hadley Berendsen closed out doubles play with an 8-4 win at first doubles.

In singles play, Ripon earned wins in all six matches.  Larson and Polyak led the way as they each won their matches without allowing a point to their opponents at first and fourth singles.
