RIPON, Wis. – Ripon College's men's soccer team came up short against Wisconsin–Eau Claire 5-0 Tuesday in the Red Hawks' final tuneup match before opening Midwest Conference play.
The visiting Blugolds, who remained undefeated in 2022 with their 10th win in as many contests, scored two goals in the first half before adding three more after halftime.

Kalan Narance made 11 saves for the Red Hawks.
Braeden Harvey also time in goal for the Red Hawks and made one save.
Eau Claire maintained possession for 55 percent of the match. The Blugolds outshot Ripon 19-5 and enjoyed a 7-0 advantage in corner kicks.
The Red Hawks begin league play Saturday when they host Beloit College at Prairie Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 11 a.m.
