BELOIT, Wisconsin – The Ripon women's soccer program continued its gauntlet of a Midwest Conference schedule, competing for 90 minutes but falling to Beloit 1-0 on Saturday afternoon at the Strong Complex Soccer Field.
The lone goal of the day came in the 74th minute, as Abbey Scott found the back of the net on a feed from Cassidy Felix to give Beloit (3-6-3, 2-0-2 MWC) a lead it would not relinquish.
Ripon (4-4-3, 0-3-1 MWC) was outshot 16-3 by the Buccaneers. Shots on goal were 9-2 in favor of Beloit.
Martina Palazzolo,
Jessi Griepentrog and
Alyssa Klementzos each had a shot for the Red Hawks.
Andreanna Wilke played all 90 minutes in goal and collected 8 saves.
