RIPON, Wis. – The Ripon College men's tennis team lost a 9-0 contest to Carroll Saturday afternoon.
The Red Hawks are now 0-4 on the season.
In doubles action,
CJ Counts and
Caleb Sippel put up a tough battle but lost an 8-4 decision at the No. 1 spot.
At the No. 2 doubles position,
Austin Stevens and
Ty Rondestvedt lost an 8-3 contest.
In singles action, Sippel lost a hard-fought 6-3, 6-1 match at the No. 2 slot. Counts was competitive throughout the match but dropped a 6-0, 6-1 decision at the No. 1 spot.
The Red Hawks return to action Feb. 17 at home against Calvin at 5 p.m.
