MILLINGTON, Tenn. – The Ripon College baseball team dropped the final game of its spring trip 12-3 to the United States Merchant Marine Academy at the USA Stadium Complex this afternoon. The loss snapped the team's three-game win streak in the process. The Red Hawks fall to 4-6 on the season while USMMA improves to 5-4.
Tied 1-1 going into the bottom of the third,

Cam Stampfl, which allowed him to reach first. Stampfl advanced to second off of
Brock Warren's single to left. Both runners came around to score on back-to-back RBI singles by
Jack Anderson and
Kyler Hickman to put the Red Hawks up 3-1 before the inning ended.
USMMA didn't trail for long when they pushed six runs across in the top of the fourth as they took advantage of four Ripon errors to go up, 7-3. They later tacked on a run in the sixth and two runs in the eighth and ninth innings to go on to win, 12-3.
Anderson finished the day going 3-for-5 with an RBI while Hickman ended the game going 1-for-4 with an RBI and a walk.
Madigan, Stampfl, and Warren all registered a hit each and run score a piece today for the Red Hawks.
