Red Hawk Women Conclude Day 2 of Phil Esten Challenge

The Ripon College Women's Track and Field Team finished the Phil Esten Challenge in 11th out of 19 teams.

When the weekend's events came to a conclusion, the Red Hawks had 13 points, about 13 points out of the top 10 in the field.

Ripon did not have any student-athletes podium during the meet, but Kalyn Otzelberger cracked the top-five in both shot put and discus. She finished 5th in shot put with a 12.27m toss and 4th in discus, posting a 41.66m throw.

Olivia Miller finished 7th in long jump with a jump of 5.26m, just .1m from breaking into the top 3. She and Otzelberger combined with yesterday's 7th-place finish by Mikayla Flyte in the 10,000m run to earn Ripon's 13 meet points.

Ripon competes at the Drake Relays this weekend, with the two-day event beginning on Friday, April 28th.
