Women's Track Wins the Ripon Spring Showdown on Senior Day

The Ripon Women's Track and Field Team dominated the Ripon Spring Showdown, winning the event with 191 team points.
 
Olivia Miller, Payton Rahn, Kynaeda Gray, and Jenna Erickson won the 4x100 meter relay with a 50.83 time.
 
Angela Mosconi and Jada Johnson finished 1st and 2nd in the 5000 meter run, before Ripon took the top 5 spots of the women's 1500 meter run a few events later. Mikayla Flyte won the event, finishing the run in 4:53.58.
 
Bridget Finn stood alone, winning the 100 meter hurdles with 17.10 second time, then Devin Ibarra finished third in the 400 meter dash.
 
Miller and Erickson finished 2nd and 3rd, respectively, in the 100 meter dash, the same finishes posted by Kiki Sherman and Jahaira Gonzalez in the 400 meter hurdles.
 
Erickson found herself on the podium again in the 200 meter dash, finishing third. Later Lili Alderson took 2nd in the 800 meter run.
 
Ripon and Ripon "B" took 1st and 2nd in the 4x400 meter relay. The "A" Team comprised of Payton Rahn, Jenny Cortes, Grace Engebretson, and Natalie Pakosz, and the "B" Team was made up of Caroline Flesch, Isabelle Willett, Mikayla Flyte, and Devin Ibarra.
 
Ripon swept the podium in the High Jump, Bridget Finn clearing 1.54 meters to take 1st in that event and Gray and Greta Demeuse coming in behind her.
 
Flesch won the Pole Vault with a 2.44 meter performance, just two events before Ripon posted the top four positions in the Hammer Throw. Arynn Mathieu recorded a 44.48 meter throw to win the event.
 
Kalyn Otzelberger and Cydney Pittenger took 1st and 2nd in the Discus, with Otzelberger winning with a 38.53 meter throw.
 
Mathieu, Finn, and Miller sat atop the podium in the Javelin, with Mathieu winning with 29.07 meters.
 
Rahn won the Triple Jump before Ripon, led by Otzelberger, took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the Shot Put.
 
Ripon will next compete in the Midwest Conference Outdoor Championships set to take place on May 12th and 13th.
