APPLETON, Wisconsin – The Ripon women's tennis program competed hard for the second consecutive day but fell 9-0 to UW-La Crosse on Sunday afternoon on the campus of Lawrence University.
 
In singles, Aubrey Malotky won one game in each of her sets on court six, while Yeva Pipan also took a game on court four.
 
In the non-conference portion of the schedule, Ripon (1-4) faced three Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opponents in addition to St. Norbert and Marian. The Red Hawks now turn their attention to Midwest Conference play for the remainder of the fall.
 
NEXT UP: Ripon opens Midwest Conference play next Saturday (September 16) with a road match at Lake Forest. First serve is scheduled for 9 a.m.
