VERONA, Wisconsin – The Ripon men's soccer program played its second consecutive defensive battle on Wednesday afternoon, drawing with Edgewood 0-0 at Reddan Park.
Each team recorded just one shot on goal, with
Finley Manning earning the nod for Ripon (0-0-2) in the 11th minute. He also had a team-high two shots overall.
Sam Jahnke made one save and earned his first career shutout in the process. He played all 90 minutes in goal.
Edgewood (1-1-1) led Ripon in corners (8-3), fouls (12-10) and yellow cards (4-2). They also had a slight advantage in overall shots at 12-7.
Noah Hook and Miguel Konde Gwo each had five shots for the Eagles.
