RIPON, Wisconsin – Thomas Geocaris, Connor Handrick and Eric Staszak of the Ripon men's soccer program have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team as announced by the organization on Tuesday morning.
 
To be eligible for academic all-district honors, sophomore or older student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or above while playing in 90% or starting in 66% of their team's competitions in the season.
 
Geocaris, a sophomore from Green Bay, Wisconsin, appeared in all 20 games for the Red Hawks and made 11 starts. He recorded five assists – and four in a five-match September stretch – while recording 10 total shots (four on goal).
 
Handrick, a junior Exercise Science and Finance major from De Pere, Wisconsin, served as one of Ripon's most valuable defenders in 2024. He appeared in all 20 games, also making 11 starts. He scored the game-winning goal at Monmouth in October, and recorded 10 total shots this season (two on goal).
 
Staszak, a sophomore Biology major from Deerfield, Wisconsin, doubled his appearances from a season ago, playing in 18 games this season after appearing in nine in 2024. Staszak made three starts this season, tallying two assists and one shot.
 
The Red Hawks finished the 2024 season 13-6-1 and 4-3-1 in Midwest Conference play, missing the Midwest Conference Tournament by a point. The Red Hawks set a school record in single-season assists (45), were second in program history in single-season goals (56) and second in single-season points (157) while achieving their third-most wins in a single season – and most wins in a campaign since 2000.
