RIPON, Wisconsin – For the first time this season, Ben Fisher of the Ripon men's track and field program has been named the Midwest Conference Field Performer of the Week as announced by the league on Tuesday afternoon.
 
At Saturday's Ripon Winter Open, Fisher won the high jump with a mark of 1.95m in his first indoor competition since the 2022-23 season. His jump is currently tied for the 12th-best jump in all of Division III so far this season.
 
This is the fourth career weekly award for Fisher and the first honor for Ripon this season.
 
Ripon returns to competition on Saturday, January 18 as the Red Hawks host their annual Alumni Dual with Beloit at noon.
