RIPON, Wisconsin – Four members of the Ripon volleyball program have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team as announced by the organization on Tuesday morning.

Lainie Heizler,
Bella Kasuboski and
Ellie Ove were all first-time honorees by the CSC for their efforts on the court and in the classroom.
Ove, a biology major from Nashotah, Wisconsin, started all 28 matches for the Red Hawks in 2024. She was second on the team with 177 kills and also recorded 35 digs, 17 blocks and three assists. Ove is a repeat CSC Academic All-District pick from a year ago and is a three-time Academic All-Midwest Conference honoree.
Kasuboski, an English major from Racine, Wisconsin, had a record-setting 2024 campaign. The senior set Ripon program records in both career service aces (168) and single-season service aces (68) while appearing in all 28 matches and making 14 starts. Her seven service aces against Maranatha Baptist on September 13 are tied for the sixth-most aces in a single match in school history, and her 68 aces in 2024 led the Midwest Conference. She was also second on the team with 245 digs and 2.53 digs per set. Kasuboski is a three-time Academic All-Midwest Conference selection and was also named a CSC Academic All-District selection in 2023.
Heizler, an Environmental Studies and Biology major from Park Falls, Wisconsin, appeared in all 28 matches and made 27 starts for Ripon in 2024. She was third in the Midwest Conference in hitting percentage (.247) and ninth in the league in blocks (50). Collecting 162 kills on the season, she was also 11th in the MWC in blocks per set (0.52). Heizler is a two-time Academic All-Midwest Conference selection.
Brinker, a chemistry-biology major from Wentzville, Missouri, started all 28 matches for the Red Hawks this season. She was eighth in the Midwest Conference in both hitting percentage (.225) and service aces (45), also recording 42 blocks and 130 kills. Brinker is a two-time CSC Academic All-District honoree and a three-time Academic All-Midwest Conference choice.
Ripon finished the 2024 season with a 10-18 record, including a 1-7 mark in Midwest Conference play.
