LAKE FOREST, Illinois – The Ripon men's tennis program fell 9-0 to Lake Forest on Saturday afternoon at the Lake Forest Tennis Courts.
 
Lake Forest (9-5, 1-0 MWC) took an early 3-0 lead after doubles. The Foresters won by default on court three before collecting a pair of 8-0 wins on courts one and two over Ripon (2-14, 0-2 MWC).
 
In singles, Lake Forest won all six first sets. The Foresters won on court five in straight sets and court six by default to clinch the victory. Then, they won the remaining four courts – also in straight sets – to close out the afternoon.
 
Jaden Francis took games off of his opponent in both sets on court three to highlight singles play for Ripon.
 
NEXT UP: Ripon continues its road swing next week as the Red Hawks face Illinois College and Monmouth next Saturday, April 13 at 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. in Jacksonville and Monmouth, respectively.
