MYRTLE BEACH, South Carolina – Ben Fisher of the Ripon men's track and field program ended his season on the sport's biggest stage on Friday, representing Ripon in the high jump at the 2024 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium.
The senior was one of the final athletes to be selected for the high jump at outdoor nationals, but the Waupun native earned second team All-American honors with a top jump of 2.00m on Friday. He currently holds the school record in both the indoor and outdoor high jump – though he did not compete in the 2024 indoor season, Fisher's top jump of 2.05m at Lawrence in May secured his second consecutive appearance at outdoor nationals.
MIT's Jackson Bliey and UW-Oshkosh's Caleb Cornelius each won the event with a high jump of 2.14m.
