RIPON, Wisconsin – After an impressive four-game, seven-day stretch, Ella Ten Pas of the Ripon women's basketball program has been named the Midwest Conference Performer of the Week as announced by the league on Monday afternoon.
 
Last week, Ten Pas recorded two double-doubles to help Ripon collect three wins. She scored 16 points with 14 rebounds in a victory over Marian last Sunday, and scored a career-high 29 points with 12 rebounds in a win over St. Norbert on New Year's Day. Against nationally ranked Trine, Ten Pas contributed 17 points and eight rebounds. The senior scored 12 points in just 19 minutes in a blowout win over Beloit, averaging 18.5 points and 9.3 rebounds for the week.
 
This is the third career Midwest Conference weekly honor for Ten Pas and the first weekly honor for Ripon as a team this season.
 
Ripon visits Grinnell on Wednesday, January 8. Tipoff from Darby Gymnasium is set for 5:30 p.m.
