DE PERE, Wis. -- The Ripon College men's basketball team came up short Wednesday night, falling 67-43 to St. Norbert College in non-conference action at the Mulva Family Fitness & Sports Center.
Sophomore Michael Asman (Kimberly, Wis., Kimberly HS) led the Red Hawks with nine points on 4-for-9 shooting, while senior Kolby Williams (New Orleans, La., Heights HS) added eight points and a team-high six rebounds. Junior Seth Bunders (Wauzeka, Wis., Wauzeka-Steuben HS) contributed across the board with eight rebounds and a game-high five assists, and junior Jack Field (Wisconsin Dells, Wis., Marian University) chipped in six points off the bench.
Ripon trailed 29-21 at the half and couldn't overcome a tough shooting night, finishing at 29.8% from the floor and 23.8% from three-point range. The Red Hawks received 22 points from their bench and totaled 32 rebounds in the effort.
The Red Hawks (0-3) will look to bounce back when they return home to host Lakeland University on Tuesday, Nov 18, at 7:30 p.m. in the Weiske Gymnasium.
