RIPON, Wisconsin – The Ripon men's tennis program opened Midwest Conference action on Saturday, falling 7-0 to Lake Forest inside the Willmore Center.
 
Ripon (5-11, 0-1 MWC) fell behind early as Lake Forest (6-8, 2-0 MWC) picked up the doubles point with wins on all three courts. The Red Hawks battled in singles – Caleb Sippel forced a third set on the top line – but the Foresters were too much, taking all six courts to secure the sweep.
 
NEXT UP: Ripon hosts Monmouth and Illinois College for Senior Day on Saturday, April 12. The Red Hawks take on the Scots at 9 a.m. and the Blueboys at 3 p.m.
