RIPON, Wis. -- Eight members of the Ripon football program have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team as announced by the organization on Tuesday morning.
Nolan Perry,
Zane Vetter,
Peter Idsvoog,
Drew Love,
Bryce Braunel,
Gage Taylor,
Ben Crock, and
Noah Hanson all were recognized for their efforts on the field and in the classroom. Braunel and Taylor are three-time honorees, while Perry, Vetter, Love, and Hanson are two-time recipients. Idsvoog and Crock earn the honor for the first time.
Perry, a junior defensive back from Genoa, Illinois, and a Computer Science major, played in all 10 games in 2025. He totaled 38 tackles, including 5 tackles for loss and 1 sack, and added an interception and a fumble recovery. Perry recorded a season-high 7 tackles at Cornell College.
Vetter, a junior linebacker from Mayville, Wisconsin, majoring in Politics and Government, started all 10 games and led Ripon with 50 total tackles, including 2.5 tackles for loss. He recorded a season-high 18 tackles at UChicago and returned a fumble 48 yards against Beloit.
Idsvoog, a sophomore offensive lineman from Wautoma, Wisconsin, and an Engineering major, appeared in nine games on the line, helping anchor Ripon's rushing attack and pass protection throughout the season.
Love, a junior linebacker from Wausau, Wisconsin, and a Business Management and Economics major, appeared in all 10 games. He totaled 25 tackles with 9.5 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks, including a season-high five tackles at Monmouth (IL).
Braunel, a senior tight end from Neenah, Wisconsin, majoring in History, appeared in all 10 games. He caught nine passes for 40 yards and added one rushing attempt. He posted a season-high 14 receiving yards against Grinnell.
Taylor, a senior defensive back from Burlington, Wisconsin, and a Business Management major, appeared in multiple roles. He finished with 15 tackles, one interception, and contributed on special teams with six kick returns for 124 yards and 15 punt returns for 102 yards, including a long return of 61 yards at Lake Forest.
Crock, a junior kicker/punter from Mount Vernon, Iowa, majoring in Political Science, connected on six of 11 field goal attempts with a long of 42 yards. He also handled 36 kickoffs totaling 2,100 yards, including two touchbacks.
Hanson, a junior offensive lineman from Ripon, Wisconsin, majoring in Physics and Mathematics, appeared in all nine games. He helped Ripon rush for 1,585Â yards and 14Â touchdowns while also protecting the quarterback in a season that saw 1,448 passing yards and 15Â scores.
Ripon finished the 2025 season with a 5-5 overall record and 5-4 in Midwest Conference play, closing the year with a victory at Lawrence University.
