OSHKOSH, Wis. -- Junior guard Laney Havlovitz (Wild Rose, Wis., Wild Rose HS) has been named the Midwest Conference Performer of the Week following her standout performances in two conference wins as the Red Hawks extended their winning streak to 15 games.
Havlovitz averaged 16 points, five assists, and 3.5 steals per game this week, playing a key role on both ends of the floor for Ripon. Her all-around impact helped fuel another strong stretch of conference play as the Red Hawks continue their unbeaten run in the MWC.
On the season, Havlovitz ranks among the conference leaders, sitting seventh in scoring, fifth in assists, third in assist-to-turnover ratio, and fourth in steals, highlighting her consistency and efficiency as one of the top guards in the league.
Ripon women's basketball returns to action tomorrow, Feb 10, at home against Cornell College.
