LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Following a breakout freshman year, pitcher Peyton Vandeloo (Kaukauna, Wis., Freedom HS) has been named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Region list, landing on the third team for Region IX. Out of 39 athletes, Vandeloo is just one of four freshman to be honored in Region IX.

Vandeloo's 2026 season included a 14-5 win / loss record on the mound, a 1.76 ERA, and 145 strikeouts. Awarded Newcomer of the Year for the Midwest Conference and First Team All-Conference honors, Vandeloo helped Ripon softball to their best season in more than a decade, with the team finishing 25-13 with a 12-4 MWC record. After just one season, Vandeloo sits eighth in program history for career strikeouts, while landing in the record book for single game strikeouts (t-1st, 14 SO and t-10th, 12 SO), single season wins (t-2nd, 14 W), single season ERA (5th, 1.76 ERA), and single season strikeouts (2nd, 145 SO).
