HILBERT, Wis. -- The Ripon men's soccer program has been selected to finish sixth in Midwest Conference (MWC) play this season, according to the preseason coaches' poll released today, August 25.
Ripon is coming off a strong 2025 campaign, recording a 10-7-2 overall record while notching a winning 4-3-1 conference record, good for a fourth place finish and a conference tournament berth. The Red Hawks return one All-Conference player from last season, junior
Seth Schroeder (Iron Ridge, Wis., Winnebago Lutheran Academy), who currently sits eighth all-time in the program record books for career goals scored (21). Schroeder earned a first-team selection last season, recording nine goals and three assists, including three game-winning goals.
The conference has expanded this season, welcoming in Luther College, who left the American Rivers Conference as the defending men's soccer champions. Luther enters this season ranked #25 nationally by the United Soccer Coaches DIII Rankings, while defending MWC champ Lake Forest notched top #25 positions on last season's NCAA NPI rankings.
