RIPON, Wis. -- The Ripon College women's soccer team battled Beloit College to a 1-1 draw Wednesday night at Hopp Stadium.

The Red Hawks fell behind in the 25th minute, but quickly responded just under two minutes later. Senior Rebecca Roszel (Fremont, Calif., Irvington HS) found the back of the net in the 27th minute, with senior Alyssa Klementzos (Salem, Wis., Westosha Central HS) providing the assist to even the match at 1-1. 

Ripon continued to pressure throughout the match, finishing with nine shots, including three on goal, and 11 corner kicks. Klementzos recorded a team-high three shots, while Roszel added two. 

Defensively, sophomore goalkeeper Kaitlan Adkins (Milwaukee, Wis., Brown Deer HS) played all 90 minutes and made three saves to help keep the match level. The Red Hawks held Beloit without a goal in the second half despite allowing just one shot after halftime. 

The draw moves Ripon to 2-4-1 overall and 0-1-1 in Midwest Conference play. 

Ripon will return to action Saturday, Sept 26, traveling to Grinnell College for a 1:30pm matchup.
