The Annual Doc Weiske '50 Memorial Golf Scramble will take place on Friday, June 20, 2025. Registration and breakfast will be offered from 7-8 AM at the Golf Courses of Lawsonia in Green Lake, Wis., with a shotgun start at 8:15 a.m. There will be a box lunch provided and golf awards after the round.
The scramble is open to a maximum of 60 four-person teams. Registrants compete in a class scramble format at the Golf Courses of Lawsonia on their choice of the Woodlands or Links course. Early registration is encouraged to ensure your foursome plays on the course of your choice.

In 2017, the Red Hawks Scramble was renamed as the Doc Weiske '50 Memorial Golf Scramble, in honor of the late alumnus, coach and Trustee Kermit "Doc" Weiske '50. Consistent with years past, this golf outing will continue to support the student-athlete experience at Ripon College. This annual outing was always one of Doc's favorite events, and by honoring his legacy and with the support of his family, this year will be the best yet.
The Doc Weiske ’50 Memorial Golf Scramble has become one of the most special traditions associated with Ripon College Athletics. From the generous support the Weiske family and additional sponsors and supporters continue to provide.. Since 2012, the Weiske Scramble has provided nearly $300,000 to bolster the student-athlete experience at Ripon College. Multiple outing non-playing and playing sponsorships are available ranging from $200 to $2500. All sponsors will be recognized with on course signage.
