Brian Schmitting is in his second year as an assistant coach for the Red Hawks. A 2007 graduate of Ripon College, Schmitting earned his B.S. in Business Management and Exercise Science.
While at Ripon, Schmitting was a two-time All-Conference selection for the Red Hawks, earning First Team honors as a Senior in 2007. During his Junior season of 2005-06, Schmitting led all of NCAA Division-III in Field Goal Percentage (.763), while ranking seventh in the country the following year (.647).
A native of Hilbert, Wis., Schmitting holds Ripon's school record for career field goal percentage (.688), and is one of 30 players in program history to score more than 1,000 points, ranking 29th with 1,003 career points. He also ranks fifth in school history for blocked shots (65) and sixth in rebounds (535).
Schmitting currently serves as a Sales Rep at BDS Fastener & Supply, LLC.
