Andrew Hoffman was hired as the next Head Cross Country and Assistant Track & Field Coach at Ripon College on April 24, 2024.

Hoffman's second season saw new heights for the women's program, with teammates Jenny Cortes and Joley Berger each earning National Championship invites. Six Red Hawks again earned All-Conference status, while Berger shattered the 6k school record as the women's team notched a third place team result. In the track season, Hoffman again helped guide his runner to the National Championships, with Berger earning a spot in the Outdoor 10k event. Berger ended the season holding five school records across cross country and track. 

In his first season as head coach, Hoffman helped guide six Red Hawks to All-Conference status, including the fourth fastest men's 8k in school history, recorded by Rainer Villanueva. 

Hoffman previously served as a graduate assistant for perennial power North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. There, he helped coach the 2023 men’s third-place team at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships and the 2022 and 2023 CCIW men’s cross country champions. He also assisted on the track and field side, coaching the 2023 CCIW men’s indoor and outdoor track and field champions while helping in recruiting efforts for the Cardinals.

On the individual side, he coached 10 NCAA All-American athletes during the 2022-23 and 2023-24 school years – five in cross country, two in the indoor season and three in the outdoor season.

A native of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, Hoffman was a student-assistant for Wartburg College’s men’s cross country team from 2017-22. He recruited, trained and communicated with athletes while helping the Knights to four American Rivers Conference championships, three NCAA Regional titles and top-10 NCAA Championship finishes in 2018 (fifth place) and 2021 (ninth place).

Hoffman received his bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Coaching from Wartburg. He received his master’s degree from North Central in May of 2024 in Sports Leadership and Administration.
