GRINNELL, Iowa - Ripon's men's soccer team had their two-game conference winning streak snapped Saturday afternoon with a 1-0 loss to Grinnell College. The Red Hawks were outshot 9-3 on the day, including 6-1 in the second half.

The game's only goal came in the 31st minute when Joseph Brown scored for the Pioneers on an assist from Rockne Decoster.

Both Goal Keepers played all 90 minutes between the posts. Ripon's Cody Messerschmidt recorded five shots, while Grinnell's Major May made one save.

Ripon will try to get back on track on Tuesday when they'll travel to Lawrence University. That game will begin at 3 p.m. in Appleton, Wis.
