RIPON, Wis. - In their first game of the season, the Ripon College men's soccer team lost 2-0 to Lakeland College. The Red Hawks allowed one goal in each half and were outshot by the Muskies, 17-2.

Lakeland (1-0) broke a scoreless tie in the 10th minute when Farouk Dadzie scored on an assist from Brandon Barry. They would add another goal in the 50th minute on an unassisted Renan Asato goal.

Cameron Plantz played the entire game in goal for the Red Hawks (0-1), saving six shots on the day. His counterpart, Austin Ganzke also played all 90 minutes, recording the shutout.

The Red Hawks will try to break into the win column on Sunday at Wisconsin Lutheran. That game will begin at 3 p.m. in Milwaukee, Wis.
