SHEBOYGAN, Wis. - After 110 minutes Saturday afternoon, Ripon and Lakeland ended exactly where they began, tied at 0. The two teams had to settle for the tie after neither scored in two overtime periods. Lakeland outshot Ripon 20-3 in the contest.

On a day when no one could score, the Goal Keepers were naturally a huge part of the game. Cody Messerschmidt recorded nine saves for Ripon (0-1-1) in his first start of the season, while his counterpart Autin Ganzke recorded two saves for Lakeland (0-0-1).

Two of Ripon's three shots came off the foot of Michael Anderson, while the other came from Gary Sexson.
