RIPON, Wis. - The Ripon College volleyball team completed their historic regular season Saturday afternoon, defeating Lake Forest College in three sets, improving their conference record to 9-1, which is the best regular season conference record in program history. The Red Hawks have now won a season-high six matches in a row and finished the regular season with a perfect 5-0 in home conference games. They defeated the Foresters in three sets (25-13, 25-17, 25-19), and will now prepare for their date with St. Norbert in Friday's MWC Tournament semi-final match.

Against Lake Forest, the Red Hawks (12-12, 9-1 MWC) recorded a hitting percentage of .340, which is marks their second-highest of the season, and recorded at least 13 kills in all three sets. Katie Berrell led the way with 20 kills, which is her second-highest total of the season, to go along with a hitting percentage of .643. Paige Buddenhagen added 12 kills and a hitting percentage of .478, while Allison Barnes finished with seven kills. Abbi Williamson again led the team in assists, with 38, while Barnes led the team with 12 digs.

Lake Forest was led by Grace Larson's 10 kills, while Tori Tinman posted 16 assists. Mallory Krzysciak led the Foresters in digs, with eight.

Friday's MWC semi-final match will be Ripon's third meeting with St. Norbert this season, with the Red Hawks winning each of the previous two. That match will begin at 4:30 p.m. in Mount Vernon, Iowa and can be seen live at,http://portal.stretchinternet.com/cornell/.
