DE PERE, Wis. - Ripon lost to St. Norbert Tuesday night in three sets, 25-17, 25-17, 25-16. The Red Hawks recorded 22 kills in the match, while SNC registered 39.
Four Ripon players combined for all of the team's kills, led by
Emily Allard, who finished with eight, to go along with a hitting percentage of .312.
Jonalee Elliott added six kills, while
Brooke Bauer and
Kat Kulas finished with five and three, respectively.
Stacie Klika led the team with eight digs, while Allard's nine assists were a team high.
St. Norbert (7-13, 4-1 MWC) was led by Lexie Van Hiel's 12 kills and .588 hitting percentage, while Haley Bartz finished with nine kills. Emily Rohloff chipped in with 18 assists, while Jasiah Lee finished with a team-high 10 digs.
The Red Hawks (7-14, 2-2 MWC) will try to rebound on Friday when they'll host Lawrence University at 7 p.m. That match will be played at Weiske Gymnasium and will serve as Ripon's "Play For The Cure" Game in which all fans are asked to wear pink in order to raise cancer awareness.
