MONMOUTH, Ill. - Ripon's volleyball team salvaged their weekend with a four-set victory against Monmouth College on Saturday afternoon. The Red Hawks won the first two sets 25-21, 25-20, before dropping the third, 20-25. They then rebounded with a 25-17 set four victory to take the match and move into fourth place in the MWC standings.

Ripon (7-13, 2-1 MWC) recorded double-digit kills in all four sets, while also posting a hitting percentage of .217. Kat Kulas and Jonalee Elliott each finished with a team-high 14 kills, while also registering a hitting percentage of .591 and .237, respectively. Brooke Bauer added 13 kills and a hitting percentage of .226. Olivia Heck and Emily Allard posted 22 and 21 assists, respectively, while also combining for seven service aces. Brianna Rizzuto added three service aces for the Red Hawks, who finished with 11 aces in the match. Stacie Klika led the team with 15 digs.

Monmouth (6-14, 1-3 MWC) was led by Becca Dabrowski and Ashley Farris, each of whom finished with nine kills. Laura Dulee led the Fighting Scots with 19 assists, while Carly Bergerhouse finished with a team-high 19 digs.

The Red Hawks will be in action again on Tuesday when they'll travel to St. Norbert College, who sits one-half game in front of Ripon in the conference standings in a tie for second place in the MWC.
