OSHKOSH, Wis. - The Ripon College men's swim team lost Saturday's dual meet to UW-Oshkosh by a score of 99-90. Despite the result, Ripon still saw five individual first-place finishes on the day.
Jack Lutter won both the 200 IM and 200 backstroke with times of 2:09.60 and 2:08.97, respectively.
Nate Pakosz also won a pair of events, finishing first in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle with times of 22.72 and 49.22, respectively.
Alec Sutton added a first-place finish in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:54.99. That trio also teamed up with
Andy Paloumpis to win the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:31.98.
Ripon will now prepare for the culmination of their season at the Midwest Conference Championships. That three-day event will take place from February 17-19.
