Ripon's Men's Swim Team Wins Second Straight Dual Meet

RESULTS

APPLETON, Wis. -
 Ripon's men's team won their second consecutive dual meet to start the season Saturday afternoon, edging Lawrence by a score of 100-91. The Red Hawks saw six first-place finishes on the day, including one relay.

Alec Sutton was the only Ripon swimmer to win more than two events, placing first in both the 100 Backstroke (58.46) and 50 Freestyle (22.39). Also earning a first-place finish during the meet were Ben Georgia in the 200 IM (2:10.99), Jack Lutter in the 100 Butterfly (55.72) and Nate Pakosz in the 100 Freestyle (50.21).

In the relay competiton, Ripon's 200 Freestyle team of Pakosz, Georgia, Sutton, and Ethan Ripp finished first with a time of 1:32.21, which was seven seconds better than the second-place time.

Ripon take next weekend off from competition, before jumping back in the pool on November 10 at 1 p.m. in Beloit, Wis. at the Beloit College Dual.
