BELOIT, Wis. - Ripon's men's swimming team remained undefeated on the season Saturday afternoon, defeating both Beloit and North Central (Ill.) at the Beloit College Double Dual. The Red Hawks defeated North Central 128-48, while topping Beloit 102-87.
Ripon won four individual events during the meet, led by two first-place finishes by
Alec Sutton, who recorded the top time in both the 200 Freestyle (1:52.63) and 100 Freestyle (50.97).
Ben Georgia added a first-place finish in the 1000 Freestyle with a time of 11:14.22, while adding a second-place finish in the 100 Breaststroke (1:06.67).
Jack Lutter finished with the top time in the 100 Backstroke (57.88).
In relay competition, Ripon's 400 Freestyle team of Lutter, Sutton,
Ethan Ripp, and
Nate Pakosz won the event with a time of 3:24.54, which was 10 seconds better than the second-place team.
Ripon will be in action again next weekend when they'll take part in the Lawrence Invitational Saturday at 10 a.m. in Appleton, Wis.
