The Ripon College Cycling team has been competing in the local Wisconsin cyclocross series for the past two months. Wisconsin has a great state cycolcross series and Highly competitive fields which provide a great resource for the team to develop. The races have been highly professional and have allowed the entire team to develop their cyclocross skills, aiming to have student-athletes competitive for Collegiate Cyclocross Nationals next year.

Noah Reckers has been putting in the hours and miles all Fall and has made substantial gains on his cyclocross skills and fitness. His race results for the season are as follows:

Recker's is currently ranked 26th for U23 Cat 5 men in the state of Indiana.

"Noah put in strong finishes all season, often going to the finish line in close proximity to his main competitors," Head Cycling Coach Alec Hoover said. "We had a lot of varying temperatures and conditions this season varying from temperature's in the 40s to teens and from dry and frozen to wet and muddy. Noah managed to thrive in all the conditions, finishing on the podium four times."

Elliott Holt joined the team to race on his fat bike at the Regional Championship, winning the Cat 5 race and taking the Regional Cat 5 Championship.

Ralph Rufo has been racing unattached all season from college while enjoying his weekends home in Milwaukee. His results are as follows:

"It has been a few years since the team has been a part of the local Wisconsin cyclocross," Hoover said. "We had a lot of great results, a lot of fun, and we look forward to racing more events next year."
